Join Our Team as a Software Control Systems Engineer

Location: Warrington Office (part of Actemium Automation Yorkshire)

Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

What You'll Do

• Deliver cutting-edge control and automation solutions for a wide range of industrial clients, from concept through to commissioning.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop robust, efficient control systems.
• Design and test systems based on client specifications and industry standards.
• Support project planning, execution, and commissioning.
• Build strong relationships with clients, including on-site work.
• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA software.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in electrical engineering (or relevant field) or a strong electrical engineering background.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.
• A solid understanding of control system design principles and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of the technical project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with industrial software and control systems.
• A methodical, structured approach with excellent time management skills.
• A collaborative mindset and confidence working directly with customers.
