Actemium Automation is looking to recruit a Senior Software Controls Systems Engineer to join our expanding team. The role involves project delivery and PLC/DCS programming. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC/DCS programming for a Systems Integrator.

AA is a national Control Systems Integrator, part of VINCI Energies, with 12 offices across the country and over 250 engineers.

The Role

• Participate actively in the entire project lifecycle, from start to finish.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Produce design and test documentation.
• Develop PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA software.
• Conduct testing with customers.
• Perform on-site commissioning.
• Compile training manuals and conduct customer training sessions.

The Person

• Intermediate experience with major brands of PLC, DCS, and SCADA/HMI platforms, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Several years of experience in software development and project delivery with customers.
• Good understanding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) setup, commissioning, and fault finding is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working in an engineering environment.
• Innovative thinking and boundary-pushing attitude.
• Highly motivated, organized, and flexible.
• Positive, personable, and a team player.
• Ability to work independently.
