Schedule: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, 1 Hour Lunch)

Start Date: May 2025

Rate of Pay: £18-£26 per hour (Depending on experience)

Hospital Experience: Not required

Accommodation: On-site accommodation available at £10 per night

A Day in the Life of an ACT:

Join our team and help ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications in a hospital setting. Your core responsibilities include:

1. Accuracy checking of dispensed medications (ACT qualification required)
2. Dispensing medications in a dispensary-based environment
3. Ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulations
4. Supporting healthcare teams to enhance patient care and medication safety
5. Maintaining accurate medication records
6. Answering medication-related queries and providing support

Requirements & Qualifications:

Essential:

1. Registered and qualified ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician)
2. Strong communication and organisational skills
3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

1. Experience in a dispensary-based environment
2. NHS or similar healthcare experience
3. Knowledge of current pharmacy practices

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time, ongoing role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (1 hour lunch). Start date is May 2025.
