Job description

Talbot Designs is a well-established acrylic and plastic fabrication company. We have a requirement for another experienced Acrylic and Plastic Fabricator/all-rounder to complement and strengthen our team of skilled staff. In this role, you will be required to manufacture a wide and varied range of items and parts, all fabricated and completed on-site.

The right candidate will have experience and be fully competent in all areas of acrylic fabrication. You will know and understand the different materials available and know how to work them correctly. You will have a working knowledge of the different types of machines needed to achieve this and be able to read and follow technical drawings.

The ideal Fabricator will:
  • Be able to work unsupervised once briefed on the project
  • Be able to work to deadlines and plan themselves
  • Be experienced in cementing, cutting, and forming
  • Understand the processes to produce high-quality work
  • Be positive and be able to work around problems and challenges
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and have a positive attitude
  • Be able to travel easily to our North London production department
  • Be happy to work extended hours when required
  • Have a good eye for detail and quality

We have an immediate requirement, and on-the-job training will be undertaken. We have a reputation for producing interesting and challenging projects, and this is a position for someone who enjoys a challenge.

Salary depends on experience but starts at £14.00 per hour.
