MCR Property Group is seeking an Acquisitions Manager to join our team in Manchester. This permanent, full-time role focuses on identifying and securing opportunities across residential, PBSA and commercial sectors nationwide.

You will lead development appraisals and cash flow analysis while coordinating with external consultants. The successful candidate will bring five years’ experience in acquisitions/development, strong market insight, and proven negotiation skills to drive value and manage

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience within acquisitions, development or a related real estate discipline.
• Strong commercial understanding of the residential market, with the ability to assess development potential and market opportunities.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and evaluate associated risks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with colleagues, clients and financial stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• An established network within the UK real estate industry.

Responsibilities

• Source and assess acquisition opportunities across residential, PBSA and commercial sectors, both on and off market.
• Undertake development appraisals, residual valuations and cash flow analysis for development sites of varying scale and complexity.
• Coordinate and manage input from external consultants and professional advisers.
• Negotiate commercial terms with landowners, developers and agents.
• Review, understand and assist in the negotiation of legal agreements.
• Identify value creation opportunities while assessing and mitigating potential risks.
