What it means to be an Academy Trainer at N Family Club…

As an Acquisition Surveyor, you will play a key role in driving new site acquisitions and expanding our footprint. Working closely with the Head of Expansion, you will identify, assess, and secure high-potential properties that align with our strategic goals. This role demands a proactive, high-energy, and growth-focused mindset—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to make a significant impact.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

• Site Identification & Acquisition:
  • Regularly review on-market and off-market properties to identify high-quality new sites.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, developers, and other key stakeholders to unlock new opportunities.
  • Assess the suitability of identified opportunities in line with business objectives.
    
    
• Negotiation & Deal Structuring:
  
  
  • Lead negotiations on lease terms, purchase agreements, and commercial terms to secure favorable deals.
  • Work closely with legal teams and external advisors to manage contracts and planning consents.
    
    
• Internal Collaboration & Viability Assessment:
  
  
  • Liaise with Finance, Property, and Construction teams to assess the financial and operational feasibility of potential sites.
  • Prepare investment committee (IC) papers and present site acquisition proposals.
  • Manage external planning consultants and legal teams to ensure a smooth acquisition process.
    
    

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience:

• 1+ years experience in an acquisition, site identification, or property-related role.
  
  
• Proven ability to build and manage a pipeline of multiple simultaneous property deals.
  
  
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging landlords, agents, and developers.
  
  
• Ability to assess site suitability from both commercial and operational perspectives.
  
  
• Experience working with planning consultants, legal teams, and internal stakeholders in a growth-driven business.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Real Estate, Property Development, Business, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  
  
• RICS accreditation or working towards it (a plus, but not mandatory).
