We are absolutely thrilled to be supporting a national apprenticeship training provider that focuses on developing tech and digital skills. They are looking to recruit a Sales Acquisition Manager within their Business Development team.

Role Overview:

The Sales Acquisition Manager will lead a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to meet and exceed new customer acquisition targets in the apprenticeship market. The role involves communicating the value of apprenticeship programmes, handling objections, and securing new business to meet induction targets. The manager will reinforce a competitive and consultative sales approach aligned with business objectives.

The manager will oversee daily sales activities, ensure best practices in prospect engagement, pitching, and closing deals, and drive performance through a data-driven approach to growth.

People Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new BDEs, ensuring they are well-trained.
  • Provide coaching and development to help team members achieve targets.
  • Monitor sales calls and meetings for quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Act as a key escalation point, troubleshooting challenges and providing solutions.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales campaigns to meet business acquisition targets across sectors and regions.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyse performance for improvement.
  • Manage sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams for smooth client transition.
  • Refine sales materials and strategies to enhance effectiveness.
