The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a strategic priority for BT. It aims to be one of the most advanced Emergency Services Networks globally, providing mission-critical communications for Britain’s Emergency Services. ESN will replace the Airwave network, leveraging EE’s 4G network to deliver voice, data, and critical communications to 300,000 frontline emergency personnel.

The BT and EE Property Team seeks an Acquisition Manager to support mobile deployment programs under the ESN contract with the Home Office. The role involves managing instructions across multiple suppliers and partners throughout the UK, including site types and landlords such as third parties and neutral host providers.

The successful candidate must be cleared to BPSS (or equivalent) at minimum, with possible requirement for National Security Vetting (e.g., CTC, SC, or NPPV).

What you’ll be doing
  • Act as the primary Programme Management contact for BT / EE’s ESN programs, including legal agreements and site upgrades, reporting to senior leadership.
  • Manage suppliers and liaise with RAN teams to ensure delivery of upgrades and new builds.
  • Understand program requirements, forecasts, KPIs, and key deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates on risks, issues, and delivery status to senior leaders.
  • Implement strategies and processes to improve program timelines.
