Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a talented Associate (also known as an "Originator") to join our vibrant London Acquisition Finance & Advisory (AFA) team.

About the Role:As an Originator, you'll be part of a close-knit team of 4-6 originators based in London, reporting directly to the Team Head. Our AFA team is a crucial part of the Corporate & Leveraged Finance (CLF) group, offering a blend of Corporate Acquisition Finance solutions and Rating & Capital Advisory services.

Your Impact:Reporting to the AFA London Team Head, who oversees the U.K., Middle East, and Nordics, you'll play a pivotal role in covering these regions. Your assignments will be tailored to your workload and professional growth, ensuring a dynamic and enriching experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Acquisition Finance

Marketing & Structuring:

Craft compelling Acquisition Finance & Advisory pitch books for corporate clients, collaborating with various business lines (DCM, CLF, ECM, GIB, and DAR Distribution teams).
Develop sophisticated financial models, including cash flow analysis and financial projections.
Propose innovative financing structures (tranching, pricing, main covenants).
Engage in client meetings alongside Senior Bankers and other key colleagues.
Transaction Management & Execution:

Prepare comprehensive business opportunity memorandums (BOM) for General Management.
Draft detailed transaction requests (risk analysis, peer analysis, transaction structure, profitability, etc.) and coordinate the credit process with relevant teams (RPC, CPM/ALM, Coverage).
Create syndication materials (information memorandums, bank presentations).
Produce and review critical loan documentation (term sheets, mandate letters, facility agreements).
Adhere to established AFA and CLF procedures.
2. Rating & Capital Advisory

Analyze companies' business models, capital structures, and financial policies.
Benchmark companies within their peer groups and industries.
Assess credit risk using Rating Agencies’ methodologies.
Develop financial models to measure the impact of business changes, capital structures, and funding.
Optimize debt capacity within rating constraints and propose strategies to meet companies' financial objectives.
Pitch and execute Rating Advisory missions to secure inaugural ratings or optimize existing ones, enhancing companies' access to debt capital markets.
