Job summary

Locum Ready seeks an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services around Waltham Abbey. The role offers fully flexible sessional work in community clinics, ideal for ACPs who can perform autonomous clinical assessment and urgent care support.

You will join established clinical teams delivering advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care around varied service settings, with emphasis on safe prescribing within competency.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable

Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation
