Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Acoustics Consultant to join our UK Noise & Vibration team. You will deliver noise and vibration assessments, combining field surveys with technical reporting across rail, energy and building projects.

The role supports a diverse range of site-based and office-based acoustics work, with opportunities to develop consultancy skills in a multidisciplinary environment. Offices in London, Cambridge and Norfolk.

Qualifications

• Acoustics degree or IOA diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding environmental noise and vibration in transport and construction sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Strong work ethic; be organised, flexible and motivated.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor own work.

Responsibilities

• Undertake noise and vibration surveys.
• Carry out noise and vibration calculations, assessments and reports.
• Support preparation of proposals for new work.
• Work on noise assessments for planning, construction noise and vibration monitoring and mitigation, EIA, and building acoustics.
• Contribute to projects across sectors such as rail, residential, data centres and energy.
