Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Acoustic Consultant in Winchester. The role offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working arrangement, with opportunities to work across a range of environmental planning projects.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of consultancy experience, be able to produce reports independently, and apply BS 4142 and BS 8233 knowledge within a growing multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Occasional exposure to commercial/project environments is desirable.
• UK driving licence and ability to work in/near Winchester office area.

We are working with a small, growing multidisciplinary environmental consultancy that is looking to appoint an Acoustic Consultant as part of its continued expansion. The Acoustic Consultant role would suit someone with at least one year’s relevant consultancy experience who is confident working independently. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute to the continued development of a growing consultancy.

The role will involve:

• Preparing noise reports, planning assessments and acoustic assessments
• Carrying out acoustic assessments in line with relevant standards
• Working with clients and project teams across a range of environmental and commercial projects
• Applying knowledge of BS 4142 and BS 8233
• Contributing to a multidisciplinary team and supporting wider environmental planning work
