My client is a leading provider of acoustic consultancy services, specialising in offering comprehensive support for all stages of construction projects in compliance with RIBA guidelines. Their wide range of services includes strategic reviews, architectural drawing appraisals, design advice, noise assessments for planning purposes, and UKAS-accredited sound insulation testing. The company is dedicated to providing innovative solutions for various infrastructure projects, including those related to rail and highway networks, as well as tall structures such as buildings, masts, and towers.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with the IOA Diploma
  • Ability to effectively address and resolve any technical issues that may arise during assessments
  • Accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA status
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects while closely collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the development life cycle
  • Previous experience in project planning and report preparation for project applications

Responsibilities:

  • Adapt project plans and designs to ensure strict adherence to client specifications and statutory guidance
  • Offer clients expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent any technical issues that could potentially impact project completion and timelines
  • Regularly conduct comprehensive noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all stages of the project’s life cycle
  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service
