This role has a starting rate of £11.50 per hour. On successful completion of probation, you will receive an increase to £12 per hour and £50 in "love to Shop" vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated with the utmost hospitality and care during their stay to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Minimize complaints and handle them professionally according to policies.
- Work in line with company policies and manuals.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor to maximize sales performance and achieve targets.
- Maintain effective control of stock and staff costs in the absence of the Restaurant Manager & Supervisor.
- Follow all hotel policies outlined in training manuals.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, meeting five-star standards.
- Stay updated on current promotions and new products.
- Promote offers on our food and drink range to guests.
- Assist with setup of functions and events according to procedures.
- Maintain accurate billing and ensure all payments are collected.
- Observe and comply with cleaning schedules, health and safety, food hygiene, and other regulations.
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence.
- Foster good relationships with other departments and communicate effectively across the hotel.
- Understand responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
