Job summary

St Mary's College is seeking an Achievement Support Assistant (Level 2 TA) to join the SEND team. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days, working alongside teaching and support staff to help students with SEND access learning.

You will help students develop independence, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially, in a caring, collaborative environment. Training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people with SEND would be an advantage; training will be provided.
• The role involves supporting students to access learning and develop independence.
• You will work within the SEND/Inclusion team alongside teaching staff.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated SEND/Inclusion team at St Mary’s College.

The successful candidate will work alongside teaching and support staff to help students with a range of additional needs access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential.

• Passionate about supporting children and young people
• Able to build strong, supportive relationships with students
• A good team player with excellent communication skills
