About The Role

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? We are currently hiring for Achievement, Progress and Retention Managers to join our Apprenticeship Directorate.

Luminate Education Group is one of the largest and most diverse further education providers in the UK, offering a wide range of high-quality vocational courses and apprenticeships to help individuals develop their skills and advance their careers.

The Apprenticeship Team is a dedicated group within the college, focused on supporting both employers and apprentices throughout the apprenticeship journey. They provide expert advice, guidance, and training opportunities across various sectors to ensure the development of a highly skilled workforce. Located across West and North Yorkshire, the hybrid flexibility of this role makes it easily accessible to students and employers alike, with strong links to local businesses and industries.

What You Will Do

  • Support the timely and effective delivery of apprenticeship programmes across multiple disciplines
  • Act as a liaison between the college, apprentices, and employers to ensure strong communication and collaboration
  • Conduct regular and meaningful progress reviews for all apprentices
  • Identify apprentices at risk of falling behind and implement appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with employers to develop and monitor action plans for apprentice improvement
  • Work across both the Apprenticeship and Business Development teams to ensure smooth programme delivery
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with employer partners
  • Stay informed of the current and emerging needs of live apprentices to provide targeted support and guidance

About You

  • Hold a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or have relative equivalent experience
  • You will have relevant and up to date experience of apprenticeship provision knowledge and recent experience of assessing or managing assessors within the Further Education sector, specifically within apprenticeships.
  • Recent experience of developing and delivering personalised support plans for both students and delivery staff.
  • Experience of effective and impactful coaching and mentoring of delivery and assessing staff working within apprenticeship provision.
  • A proven ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a range of staff and students.
