Job summary

City of Derby Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Achievement Leader to join our growing pastoral team, strengthening provision and ensuring every student is supported to thrive.

As an Achievement Leader you will create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment, provide high-quality pastoral support, promote positive behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, and help identify and remove barriers to learning, working closely with students, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, resilient and proactive approach to supporting young people.
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, colleagues and external agencies.
• Ability to build positive relationships in challenging situations.
