Job summary

Djanogly Strelley Academy in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum. You will plan, prepare and deliver structured, engaging lessons that support academic, social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will assess progress, maintain effective classroom management, and work with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support achievement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to teach in the UK.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour for learning skills.
• Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, parents and leaders.

Responsibilities

The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering structured and engaging lessons that support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The successful candidate will assess and monitor student progress, implement effective classroom management strategies, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement and wellbeing.
