Job description

At Pharmacierge, we are committed to redefining the Private Pharmacy experience by integrating innovative technology with personalised patient care. Located in Central London, our focus is on delivering safe and effective medications with the utmost professionalism and dedication.

We are currently looking for an Accuracy Checking Dispensing Assistant (ACDA) to join our expanding team. In this role, you will work closely with our qualified pharmacists to ensure that medications are accurately dispensed and that patient safety remains our top priority. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive team that values both professional growth and exceptional service.

Please Note: Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not currently available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in accurately dispensing medications and support the team in managing prescriptions in compliance with legal and operational standards.
  • Perform accuracy checks on dispensed items to ensure adherence to the prescribed medication and dosage.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of medication dispensing processes.
  • Collaborate with the wider pharmacy team (Pharmacists, Technicians and Support Staff) to address patient inquiries and ensure all patient needs are met effectively.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay up to date with industry best practices and enhance service delivery.

If you're interested in becoming an ACDA with Pharmacierge, here's what we're looking for:

  • Must hold an NVQ2 (or equivalent) Pharmacy Dispenser qualification (Essential)
  • Must have completed appropriate training to qualify as a ACDA (Essential)
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, involving dispensing and accuracy checking responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the dispensing process.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while also being self-motivated.
