Join a fast-paced, quality-driven pharmacy team where your accuracy and eye for detail help ensure patients receive the care they deserve. We're on the lookout for a qualified Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to play a crucial role in the safe dispensing and supply of homecare prescriptions.

This is a great opportunity for someone whos confident in final prescription checks, thrives in a regulated environment, and is passionate about supporting high standards in pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out final accuracy checks on dispensed items, ensuring they meet all regulatory and clinical standards
  • Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist with technical dispensing duties
  • Overseeing and participating in the safe supply of medications in line with GPhC, MHRA, and Good Distribution Practice guidelines
  • Helping maintain full compliance with SOPs, health & safety regulations, and quality systems
  • Supporting audits, stock control, and the investigation of any pharmacy incidents
  • Contributing to training and SOP development within the pharmacy team
  • Helping streamline the workflow so pharmacists can focus on patient-facing care
  • Supporting wholesale orders in line with MHRA requirements

Key Skills:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
  • Registered with the GPhC
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continual improvement
  • Confident working as part of a team and supervising others when needed
  • Clear communication skills and a strong sense of patient care
