Job description

A highly rated Lowestoft pharmacy is now looking for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) to join the team.

The pharmacy is a mainstay for the local area, offering a broad range of NHS and private services (from repeat and new prescriptions to sexual health care and pregnancy testing, healthy living consultations, and seasonal and travel vaccinations) in a convenient location close to local amenities and bus routes.

The team works hard to make this bustling, vibrant place as welcoming and accessible as possible for all members of the community.

As an Accuracy Checking Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacists and keeping the pharmacy running smoothly.

You’ll use your fine-tuned skills to safely and effectively assemble prescriptions, dispense medication, resolve queries, and ensure each visitor has an easy and straightforward experience when accessing pharmacy services.

Permanent full-time (37.5h) and part-time positions are available.

Person specification:

  1. (Essential) Active registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
  2. (Essential) Accuracy Checking certification
  3. (Essential) Previous experience working as an Accuracy Checking Technician
