UHDB in Derby is seeking Accredited Clinical Coders to join our expanding Clinical Coding Team. You will deliver high-quality coded data across the Trust, applying ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications in line with national standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Accredited Clinical Coder with proven experience in clinical coding.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of coding and its uses.
• Experience coding a wide range of specialties.
• Knowledge of NHS funding arrangements and HRG allocations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality clinical coding service across the Trust.
• Ensure accurate and timely coding in line with national standards and reporting deadlines.
• Maintain data quality and support service planning and performance metrics.
• Provide evidence of attendance at accredited coding courses and refresher training.
