Location: Jerroms, Blythe Valley Park, SolihullContract type: Full time, permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Are you ready to take your first step into the world of accountancy? Jerroms is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individuals to join our team as a Trainee Accountants. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a solid foundation in finance while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, professional environment.

As part of this role, you’ll take part in our 12-month in-house Early Careers Training Programme, designed to give you the essential knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in accountancy. Through a combination of practical work and structured learning, the programme will take you up to the point of commencing your professional studies, such as ACCA, setting you firmly on the path toward qualification.

Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Accountant at Jerroms, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of core accountancy functions. Your responsibilities will include:

· Preparing statutory and management accounts

· Assisting with the production of year-end financial statements

· Preparing VAT returns

· Carrying out bookkeeping tasks

· Supporting payroll processes

· Maintaining accurate financial records

· Providing general administrative support

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual who brings:

· Strong communication skills

· A positive, proactive approach to learning

· A genuine desire to develop a career in accountancy

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:
· A solid academic background with strong numerical and IT skills

· At least 3 A-levels (or equivalent), ideally in mathematics or accounting, at grade B or above
