Job description

Job Title: Accounts Technician

Location: St Ives Office (with some time at Ely, St Ives, and St Neots offices)

Department: General Practice

Employment Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Qualifications: Part or fully qualified AAT, or qualified by experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as completing the corporation tax returns
  • Completion of personal tax returns for directors, sole traders and rental accounts
  • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
  • Utilise Excel and IT packages such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Salary/remuneration package on offer will be at market rates in line with knowledge and experience.
