Job summary

Confidential in Banbury is hiring an Accounts Technician to handle statutory and tax computations, liaise with clients, and ensure accurate, timely work. The role offers hybrid working with flexible hours, and the option for full or part-time arrangements.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounts prep experience in practice, AAT or equivalent, and familiarity with cloud software such as Xero. Strong organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud accounting software, ideally Xero.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Job description

Our client based in Banbury is looking to recruit an Accounts Technician. This role will offer either full or part time working hours, along with hybrid working. Full Time hours will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible working pattern.

As an Accounts Technician you will be required to

• Prepare statutory and unincorporated accounts and tax computations.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and provide support with accounting queries.
• Ensure work is accurate, completed efficiently and meets deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.

As an Accounts Technician you will have:-

• At least 2 years' accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud accounting software, ideally Xero.
