Job summary

Trial Balance is seeking an experienced practice professional to join our South West based office network. You will work on statutory accounts, tax preparation, management accounting and VAT while helping clients future-proof through digital accounting.

The role requires a strong background in an accountancy practice and either an AAT qualification or evidence of being qualified by experience, with a strong commitment to training and study options.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accountancy practice
• AAT qualification or equivalent by experience
• Experience with statutory accounts, tax, VAT and business advisory services

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts and tax returns
• Handle management accounting and VAT for clients

Your duties in this role will include statutory accounts and tax preparation, management accounting and VAT, along with providing business advisory services and ensuring your clients are future-proofed for the transition to digital accounting.

This role would suit either a qualified AAT or a candidate who would describe themselves as qualified by experience. A strong background gained in an accountancy practice environment is essential, and this firm will help you to build on all of the skills that you have developed to date through market-leading training and study options.
