Autograph Recruitment seeks an experienced Accounts and Tax Senior to join its Gloucestershire practice. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, prepare year-end accounts and tax computations, and provide advisory support while mentoring junior staff. Strong client communication and tax knowledge are essential.

Role involves VAT/MTD submissions, tool familiarity with Digita, Xero, and QuickBooks, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to deadlines and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an accountancy practice with accounts and tax experience.
• Ability to manage a varied client portfolio and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and develop a portfolio of clients with regular communication and support.
• Prepare year-end accounts and tax computations, including capital allowances.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Provide accounts, tax and general business advice to clients.
• Oversee VAT and Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions.
