TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Senior to join a fantastic accountancy practice based in Ramsgate. The role offers a varied mix of accounts and tax work, with regular client contact and the opportunity to build on your existing experience.

As an Accounts & Tax Senior, you’ll prepare accounts and tax returns for a range of clients, manage your workload and work closely with senior colleagues to deliver an excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice with accounts preparation and tax.
• Strong understanding of year end accounts, corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Confident using accountancy software.
• Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and confidence building client relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Prepare personal tax returns and assist with tax compliance.
• Support clients with bookkeeping and VAT where needed.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and answer queries.
• Manage deadlines to ensure work is completed on time.
• Support junior colleagues and discuss technical queries with senior team members.
