Job summary

Cripps Recruitment Limited is seeking an Accounts & Tax Manager for an independent firm of accountants in Ruislip. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with extensive UK practice tax and accounts experience and the ability to supervise junior staff.

The role reports to directors and involves managing a varied client portfolio across sectors, with potential hybrid working and a strong focus on accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Extensive tax and accounts experience within a UK accountancy firm.
• Experience supervising junior staff and managing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns for clients.
• Report to directors and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Be a first point of contact for clients and liaise with staff and directors.
• Work with directors to manage workflow and supervise junior staff.
• Review work for accuracy and provide training where needed.
