This independent,multi-sited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity! Asan Accounts & Tax Manager, you will collaborate with other managers andoversee a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, andlimited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolioindependently while working closely with a skilled team of managers andpartners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a varied client portfolio
  
• Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
  
• Creating income and expenditure accounts forclients as needed
  
• Overseeing bookkeeping and organising accountingrecords
  
• Reviewing, preparing, and submitting VAT returns
  
• Preparing and submitting personal and corporatetax returns
  
• Providing outstanding client service byaddressing queries and offering support
  
• Collaborating with senior management, includingassisting Partners on projects
  
• Contributing to the firm’s growth by retainingexisting clients and fostering relationships with potential clients
  

Requirements

• Youwill be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years’experience within practice
  
• Youwill have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within apractice environment and have hands on experience of accounts and taxreturns
  
• Experience of general tax planning would be advantageous
  
• Open to part time and full time applicants
  
• £50,000- £60,000, based on experience and qualification
