Job summary

ICAEW in Central London is seeking an ACA-qualified Accounts Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead a portfolio of clients, primarily in Film, TV and Media, with exposure to other sectors. The role blends review work, statutory accounts preparation, and tax return duties in a busy practice.

Hybrid working and clear progression to Management within 18 months to 2 years are offered, with training and support provided. A strong focus on accuracy, client service and mentoring junior staff is expected.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification with 18–36 months PQE in a good-quality firm.
• Experience of statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, VAT and bookkeeping.
• Experience with cloud-based software packages is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure high-quality service.
• Review work prepared by junior staff.
• Prepare FRS 102 statutory accounts from start to finish.
• Draft corporation tax and personal tax returns; review VAT returns.
• Train and support junior staff; assist with ad hoc projects.
