Job Description

Joining as a key addition as Accounts Senior based in Totnes, you will undertake a hands-on role, with increasing responsibility over time as you develop here to help manage juniors, reviewing and checking work along with the hands-on delivery of year-end accounts/tax, VAT, and wider services, developing client relationships. You will therefore undertake preparation and review of accounts production for a wide range of sole traders and partnerships, with a significant focus on limited companies, along with general taxation work across personal and corporate tax, VAT Returns, and bookkeeping help and advice to their clients. You will have increasing responsibility and opportunity to progress your career and carve an influential position as a key addition to this growing firm.

The Successful Applicant

The firm is looking to consider individuals across a range of levels as the role can be molded accordingly around this. You may be part ACA/ACCA, or studying as an Accounts Senior within the accountancy practice sector. Alternatively, you may have developed your career entirely through experience to date within accountancy practice or may be AAT qualified within your career experience so far. You will have developed at least two to four years, or considerably more experience within this sector. You will have a background preparing accounts, tax, and providing wider services for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will be looking to progress within your career and be seeking an opportunity within a highly successful firm of chartered accountants that offers you a path to develop.
