Job summary

Our client, a leading Top 40 Firm, is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to its existing team in Preston. You will prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, assist managers with client audit functions, and handle tax return schedules.

ACCA qualified or studying towards, solid practice experience, experience of Xero, and being well organised with strong analytical skills are required to succeed in this role.

• Prepare statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

• Complete VAT returns.

Role: Accounts Senior
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000
Location: Preston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (hybrid available after probation)

• prepare statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• assist managers with client audit function

• produce draft computations
• produce year end accounts
• review work undertaken by junior members of staff
• prepare schedules for tax returns
• complete VAT returns

Experience for the Accounts Senior:

• ACCA qualified or studying towards
