Job summary

Cameron James is recruiting an Accounts Senior in North Shields to join a growing UK Top 50 firm. You will prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships and supervise junior staff, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.

The role requires ACCA/AAT Level 4 or part qualified, 3–4 years practice experience, strong IT skills and excellent communication. The salary band is £30,000 to £40,000, with potential for progression within a supportive practice environment.

Due to continued growth and expansion, our client, a UK Top 50 firm, is seeking to appoint an Accounts Senior to its existing team

Duties for the Accounts Senior:

• prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders snd partnerships
• review the work of junior members of staff
• prepare corporate and personal tax returns
• VAT returns
• deal with client led queries

Experience for the Accounts Senior:

• AAT level 4 or ACCA qualified/ part qualified
• three to four years practice experience
• strong IT skills
• excellent communication skills
