Do you have a minimum 2 years in an accountancy practice environment? Are you looking for a role with excellent training and progression opportunities? We have just the opportunity in our Newmarket Office.

Job Purpose:

To be a senior part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function providing a high standard of professionalism along with quality of service to a varied client base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations
  • Assist in the preparation of cash flows
  • Liaise with clients to resolve any queries
  • Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time
  • Produce draft computations for clients
  • Review work undertaken by junior staff
  • Provide assistance in the development of junior staff
  • Prepare schedules for Tax returns

Skills, Qualifications and other Requirements:

  • Minimum AAT level 4 or Part- Qualified with at least 2 years practice experience
  • Strong accounting system knowledge and excel competency
  • Desire to deliver a high quality of service to a varied client base
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management, being able to prioritise time and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven analytical skills
