Sheridan Maine is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join a well-established accounting firm in North London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a varied client portfolio and further develop your skills in accounts preparation and client management.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Manage bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of client financial records.
  • Handle VAT returns and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide excellent service.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports.
  • Supervise and support junior members of staff.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and work complies with accounting standards.
What we’re looking for
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience preparing accounts and managing client relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and software.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to professional growth and client service.
