Job summary

Autograph Recruitment Ltd is assisting a growing accountancy practice in Herefordshire to recruit an Accounts Senior. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, prepare and review statutory accounts, and get involved in corporate and personal tax work.

You will mentor junior staff, build strong client relationships, and provide general business and financial advice. ACA or ACCA qualified candidates with accountancy practice experience are invited to apply.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Senior to join a growing and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Herefordshire.

This role offers far more than just accounts production. As an Accounts Senior, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, and have clear long-term career progression.

Working with a varied portfolio of clients, as an Accounts Senior, you'll play a key role in building strong relationships, supporting businesses with their financial needs, and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients.

Role and duties of an Accounts Senior:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Corporate and personal tax work
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff
• Working closely with business owners across a range of sectors
• Providing general business and financial advice

The successful Accounts Senior will be:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experienced within accountancy practice
• Confident managing client relationships
• Organised, proactive and commercially minded
• Keen to progress within a growing firm
