This well-established and respected regional practice based in Kettering is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to facilitate client growth and offer career progression in line with studies.

The Accounts Semi Senior / Senior will prepare all aspects of accounts, taxation, management information, and statutory reports for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from small owner-managed businesses to groups with turnover up to £55m.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA, ACA / ICAEW with prior practice experience in accounts preparation, seeking career development within a progressive practice.

Responsibilities

1. Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
2. Preparation of business tax and corporation tax computations
3. Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
4. Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries

Requirements

1. AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA, ACA / ICAEW or equivalent with prior practice experience in accounts
2. Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements
3. IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
4. Highly organized with strong relationship-building skills
