Job role / duties

• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and self-assessment tax returns.
• Reconcile client bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare working papers and assist with audits, as required.
• Liaise with clients to obtain documentation and resolve queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain filing systems (digital and paper-based) in line with regulatory requirements.
• Support the SMT with ad hoc tasks and administrative duties.

To be considered you MUST:

• Be proficient in the use of Xero accounting
• Be highly experienced with FRS 105 & 102a
• Have excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Want to progress in your career and take on further responsibility
• Be able to add value to the practice
