Job summary

Xeinadin is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior in Reading to support VAT and bookkeeping for a client portfolio and to prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. This role offers growth within a dynamic, supportive team and exposure to varied client work.

You will develop skills, progress in accountancy, and work alongside senior staff to ensure timely, accurate deliverables while adhering to CPD requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Part AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent (or actively working towards qualification).
• Good knowledge of book-keeping, VAT accounts preparation.
• At least 2-3 years practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
• Bookkeeping and preparing financial accounts for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Assistance in the preparation of corporation and personal tax returns.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure client deliverables are met within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Contribute to team activities and improvements in workflows to enhance business and client service standards.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development to maintain and update technical knowledge and comply with CPD requirements.
