Job summary

Xeinadin is seeking an Accounts Junior or Semi-Senior to join our friendly and supportive team in Andover. Roles are open to school leavers, graduates, and those pursuing AAT/ACCA. You'll gain broad experience across accounts, management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping while building client relationships.

The successful candidate will be accountable, organised, eager to learn, and benefit from study support and clear career development opportunities at Xeinadin.

Qualifications

• Three A levels or equivalent qualifications.
• Relevant degree would be helpful but not essential.
• Experience with accounting software and office environment would be beneficial.
• Part-qualified AAT or ACCA or willingness to begin studying towards the AAT/ACCA.
• Experience preparing limited company accounts, management accounts or VAT returns would be beneficial.
• Experience preparing charity accounts would be helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, charities and other organisations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and maintain clear, accurate working papers.
• Prepare management accounts and assist clients in understanding their financial information.
• Prepare and review VAT returns.
• Assist clients with Xero, bookkeeping and general accounting queries.
• Support clients with Making Tax Digital obligations.
• Correspond with clients to request information and resolve queries.
• Manage allocated assignments and ensure deadlines are met.
• Identify matters requiring further consideration in accounting, tax and bookkeeping.
• Take increasing ownership from initial prep to completion.
