Job summary

Trial Balance, a Truro-based accountancy practice, is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, prepare year-end and monthly accounts, and assist with personal and corporate tax returns, VAT, and bookkeeping. AAT qualification is preferred, but non-qualified applicants with relevant practice experience will be considered.

Reporting to a supportive manager, this role promises excellent career progression within a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification preferred; others will be considered.
• Accountancy practice experience required; technician or semi senior level.
• Development-focused role with strong progression potential.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients from sole traders to limited companies.
• Year-end and monthly accounts preparation.
• Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns.
• VAT returns and bookkeeping.
• Attending client meetings and dealing with queries.
