Ambition in Aylesbury is seeking a part-qualified Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established practice serving SMEs across the UK. You will prepare financial accounts, assist with corporation tax and VAT, and deliver high-quality service within deadlines.

Working office-based, you will liaise with clients, support senior staff, and develop your technical skills in a collaborative, career-focused environment with CPD opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Part qualified or actively working towards qualification in accountancy.
• 3–4 years of experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial accounts for a varied client portfolio with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns.
• Handle personal and corporation tax computations as part of accounts work.
• Deliver audit and accounts work to high technical and regulatory standards.
• Communicate clearly with clients, offering timely, sound advice.
• Collaborate with seniors to meet deliverables and improve workflows.
• Keep up-to-date CPD and technical knowledge.
