Ambition in Aylesbury is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join their practice. You will prepare financial accounts for a varied client portfolio, support tax returns, and contribute to audit work within regulatory standards.

The role requires strong communication, organisation, and a proactive approach to CPD. You will work office-based in a collaborative team, liaising with clients and senior staff to deliver high-quality service.

Qualificações

• Part qualified or actively working towards qualification in accountancy.
• 3–4 years of experience in accountancy practice.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional, self-motivated with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Committed to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial accounts for varied clients with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in corporation tax and VAT returns.
• Compute personal and corporation tax as part of accounts prep.
• Deliver audit and accounts work to high standards within timelines and budgets.
• Communicate clearly with clients, verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with senior team to meet deliverables and improve workflows.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge via CPD.
