BC Financial Search Ltd in Wilmslow is assisting a well-established independent accountancy practice to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior, Senior or Assistant Manager, with the level of appointment tailored to experience.

You will work with a varied portfolio, preparing accounts from start to finish, take ownership for more experienced candidates, and support junior staff in a friendly, flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Experience preparing year-end accounts
• Knowledge of accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and/or partnerships
• Good organisational skills with ability to manage deadlines
• Confident in client communication and able to build relationships
• Collaborative and approachable working style

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
• Manage accounts assignments from client records through to completion
• Prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Assist with payroll and other general practice tasks
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
• Build strong client relationships and maintain timely delivery
• Support junior team members and supervise where needed
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients
