Job summary

Vaisto Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior for a well-established North West firm with a Liverpool base. You will handle a varied client portfolio and develop your technical skills alongside experienced partners who invest in people.

Ideal candidates have 3-4 years' accounts preparation experience, AAT qualification or ACA/ACCA part-qualification, or QBE. You will manage client contact and contribute to the team as it grows.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' experience in accounts preparation within practice.
• AAT qualification or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or QBE considered.
• Comfortable managing a varied client portfolio independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Build technical knowledge across a broad range of client types and sectors.
• Work with senior colleagues to develop review and advisory skills.
• Support team deadlines and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.

Accounts Semi Senior - Responsibilities

Portfolio & Client Work

• Prepare statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Ensure financial records are accurate, complete and up to date
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries in a timely manner

Technical Development

• Build technical knowledge across a broad range of client types and sectors
• Work closely with senior colleagues to develop review and advisory skills

Team & Communication

• Support wider team deadlines and workflow during busy periods
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels

Accounts Semi Senior - Requirements

• 3-4 years' experience in accounts preparation within practice
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or QBE considered
• Comfortable managing a varied client portfolio independently
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident, clear communicator with clients and colleagues
• Practice background essential
