Job summary

TPF Recruitment is working with a respected chartered accountants firm in Ramsgate, Kent, seeking an Accounts Senior to join on a full-time or part-time basis. You will handle stat accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and tax for a varied client portfolio.

You will be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified (or part qualified or qualified by experience) with 2–4 years in practice, with training and study support and a competitive salary of £28,000–£32,000 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience within practice and hands-on experience of preparing accounts and tax work for clients.
• Experience with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping for clients.
• Handle VAT and tax work for a portfolio of clients.

Education

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is working with an excellent firm of chartered accountants in Ramsgate, Kent, who are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. You will be working with a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and you will undertake a varied workload of statutory accounts preparation, management accounts and bookkeeping, VAT and tax work.

Our client is a chartered practice with a great reputation and staff retention rate. They have a very exciting client base of interesting clients, across a range of sectors and turnovers. They range from small start-up businesses, all the way through to significantly sized groups with multi-million-pound turnovers.

Dependent on your experience, our client is willing to provide training and study support, as required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly successful chartered accountancy practice in Kent.

Requirements
