Job summary

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or similar preferred; open to non-qualified candidates based on experience.
• Prior experience in accountancy practice is essential.
• Strong experience with cloud-based accountancy software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Prepare year-end accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping.

This role would suit an AAT qualified candidate or similar, though my client is happy to consider applicants who haven’t undergone formal qualifications. Previous experience in accountancy practice is essential due to the technical nature of the role, and it would be beneficial if you have strong experience in cloud-based accountancy software.
