Job summary

Verelogic is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi Senior to join our established accountancy practice in Newton-le-Willows. The role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio and progress technically within the firm.

The successful candidate should have 2-3 years' experience in practice, be part-qualified ACA/ACCA, and possess strong skills in preparing company, sole trader and partnership accounts. Audit experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.

• Ensure accounts are prepared accurately and in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Assist with tax compliance work where required.
• Liaise with clients regarding accounts preparation and routine accounting queries.
• Work closely with senior members of the team to ensure client deadlines are met.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
• Assist with audit assignments where required.
• Contribute to the wider accounts team and support the delivery of a high-quality service to clients.

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Semi Senior to join an established accountancy practice in Newton-le-Willows.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts professional with 2-3 years' experience gained within an accountancy practice who is looking to continue developing their technical skills and progress their career within practice.

The successful candidate will ideally be part-qualified ACA or ACCA and will have strong experience in accounts preparation. Previous audit experience would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
