This role has arisen following a period of company growth, presenting an excellent opportunity for a committed and motivated candidate to join a firm that values its workforce. This is a great opportunity for a candidate seeking a mixed role where they can benefit from the firm's expertise and develop their career as an accounts and audit professional.
Your new role
This role is accounts-heavy, where you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing year-end, management accounts, VAT, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and turnovers, reporting to managers. You will also participate in all areas of audit, from planning to completion. Developing strong client knowledge and relationships, providing advice and guidance, will be key.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm seeks a professional accounts semi-senior with experience in practice, including preparing statutory and management accounts, tax, VAT returns, and some exposure to audit. You will be ACA/ACCA/AAT part-qualified or qualified by experience. Strong knowledge of accountancy software and a desire to learn and grow professionally are essential.
What you'll get in return
This Liverpool-based role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development within an independent firm. Although accounts-focused, there is scope to get involved with audit due to recent departmental growth.
